I originally published this article on my health and wellness website The Healthy Minute right before Thanksgiving.  Now that it is almost Christmas, I thought it would be a good opportunity to share this valuable information again.

We all know the Holidays are a time when most of us struggle to maintain our healthy eating habits and nutrition plans. I know I sure do!

In the past, I could always count on adding 5 to 10 pounds of fat between Thanksgiving and New Years.

I just couldn’t help myself. I love all of the HUGE homecooked meals served during the Holidays with the mashed potatos, ham, turkey, fresh bread and rolls…and my all-time favorite pumpkin pie. I could probably eat an entire pumpkin pie all by myself in one sitting.
